The Story of God for the City of Nashville
Our journey is based upon striving to LIVE THE STORY that Jesus taught and lived 2,000 years ago. We are a growing & developing community living life in the heart of downtown Nashville, TN. We long to be comprised of people of all ages and from all walks of life who are learning how to live this beautiful yet complex life together as we journey in the ways of Jesus.
Our role is to connect and come alongside those living in and those curious about the story of God by helping them navigate life’s challenges in a rapidly changing world, so they might come to give their lives to Jesus and live the story they were designed to live.
While Nasvhille is a growing, vibrant, and creative community:
- Research shows 75% of the downtown community does not have a personal relationship with Christ.
- In the past 10 years, there has been a 10% decrease in the number of Nashvillians who are active in a community of faith.
- Stress and anxiety are the most common mental health hardships for adults in Nashville.
- Many people in the city are de-churched, cynical and have given up on the church.
- Therefore, the church is facing major challenges within our culture.
However, we believe it is a thrilling time as people are open to spiritual things. So, we continue to rethink how to communicate the ageless and unchanging message of Jesus within a culture that is becoming post-Christian.
Therein, our role is to connect and come alongside those living in and those curious about the story of God by helping them navigate life’s challenges in a rapidly changing world, so they might follow Jesus and live the STORY they were designed to live.
Because of these needs, your prayers, friendship, and your gifts are greatly appreciated, as they allow us to focus on the calling God has given us for the city of Nashville. Over the course of the next three years, we are trusting God to provide support and team members to help give us the financial freedom to answer His call on our lives.
