My name is Blake Housley and I am a church planter to Nashville, TN. I am being sent out of Park Crest Baptist Church of Springfield, MO. The mission of Park Crest is wrapped up in three words: Show, Know, & Grow. We aim to Show the love of Christ, so that people come to Know Christ, and Grow in their relationship with Christ.
As I carry out the mission of my home and sending church, I aim to Show Nashville the love of Jesus through a new church that will aim to help people take their next step toward Jesus with the end goal of developing fully devoted and equipped followers of Jesus.
We will accomplish this mission and vision through four main ways. We will (1) serve the city of Nashville, (2) build relational community through small groups, (3) prioritize Sunday gatherings for worship and response to the presentation of God’s Word, and (4) make disciples that aim to become more like Jesus every day.
Building partnerships with people who believe in the need for a gospel preaching church in Nashville, along with the mission and vision are essential to the success of this work.
