Hope Church Chicago Initiative

Chicago, IL

Through the years of serving three multiethnic Chicago churches, we had a vision of starting a new multiethnic and multigenerational church where God’s people are nourished and equipped by in-depth preaching of God’s Word and engaging worship, and then are faithful witnesses of Christ as they move through the city.

In December 2019, God opened the door for that congregation to be launched in center-city Chicago – the Tri-Taylor neighborhood, a few blocks south and west of the Medical District, and minutes from I-290 and I-94. A church for the city of Chicago.

God works in uniquely powerful ways when his people come together to advance his kingdom. We have not undertaken this work alone. Co-pastor Steve Mason and his wife, Kerri, have partnered with us in this effort, giving us a multiethnic ministry team from the very start.

And now we ask you, as the Lord leads, to join with us by your prayers and financial support. We anticipate seeing the fruit of God’s Word in the lives of godly believers who are always prepared to respond when others are curious about their hope or their way of life (1 Peter 3:15, Colossians 4:6), and in the transformation of those who hear and believe the gospel of Jesus Christ that we live and share. In anticipation of your partnership, we thank you.

For His Kingdom in the City,
